Every individual who uses Google Workspace for professional work or otherwise hits the corner of “Out of Storage” problem periodically. That is if the individual has not already signed up for paid cloud services.
Catching up to emerging cloud-based services across various spectrums, Google has announced a series of updates that will ensure more space and a better-personalised experience for Workspace users.
Soon every Google Workspace Individual account will come with 1TB of secure cloud storage.
Google Workspace, formerly known as G Suite, has announced that they have been working on bringing some major upgrades to the platform. Under this, they will provide free cloud storage of up to 1TB and certain advances in email personalization.
How will you get 1TB of Free Storage?
“You don’t have to lift a finger,” says Google informing that every account will be automatically upgraded from their existing 15 GB of storage to 1 TB after the rollout.

With this update, users will be able to store over 100 file types in Drive, including PDFs, CAD files and images. In addition to this, individuals will be able to easily collaborate on and edit Microsoft Office files without converting them.
Since Google Drive comes with built-in protections against malware, spam and ransomware there will be fewer worries about accidentally opening the door to malware just by opening a document.
An Upgrade of Built-in Mail Merge
In a blog post, Google also announced a new feature that will enable the user to send multi-send emails feature wherein each recipient will receive a unique email that feels individually crafted just for them.
With this, each recipient of the email will receive a unique email that feels individually crafted just for them. By default, multi-send emails also include an unsubscribe link for recipients to opt out of future messages.
