Joe Biden announced his cabinet, here is the top list

America's newly elected President Joe Biden on Tuesday announced his cabinet picks.

The Cabinet announced by President Elect Joe Biden includes the vice president and the heads of other 15 executive departments such as Agriculture, Commerce, Defense, Education, Energy, Health and Human Services, Homeland Security, Housing and Urban Development, Interior, Justice, Labor, State, Transportation, Treasury and Veterans Affairs.

Biden has also announced several other key positions also have Cabinet-level rank, including White House chief of staff, Environmental Protection Agency administrator, Office of Management & Budget director, United States Trade Representative ambassador, Council of Economic Advisers chairman, Small Business Administration administrator, US Ambassador to the United Nations and Director of National Intelligence.

As per the constitution of America all the Cabinet position nominations will require Senate confirmations.

Here is the list of top members of his cabinet

Kamala Harris, Vice President

She is the running mate of Joe Biden. She is the first women in the history of America to occupy the chair of Vice President.

Antony Blinken, Secretary of State

58-year-old Antony Blinken is a close associate of newly elected President Joe Biden, who began his career in the State Department during the Bill Clinton administration. Blinken was the US Deputy Secretary of State during the Obama administration when Joe Biden was the Vice President of the United States.

Jake Sullivan, National Security Advisor

Jake Sullivan will be one of the youngest NSAs in US history. Sullivan, 43, has been advising Biden on domestic policy, but has an extensive foreign policy background.

Alejandro Mayorkas, Secretary of Homeland Security

Alejandro Mayorkas is a former head of Citizenship and Immigration Services who would become the first Latino and immigrant to lead the agency.

Avril Haines, Director of National Intelligence

Avril Haines, tapped by President-elect Joe Biden to be the top US spy, is a former CIA No. 2 who would be taking over as the chief of a US intelligence community.

Linda Thomas-Greenfield, US ambassador to the United Nations

She has been in Foreign Service for 35 years and has served in many diplomatic positions around the world.

John Kerry, special presidential envoy for climate

Kerry was President Barack Obama's Secretary of State from 2013 to 2017 and was the Democratic Party's nominee for president in 2004.

Janet Yellen, Treasury Secretary

Former Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen as US Treasury Secretary, putting a woman in the job for the first time.
