The resounding victory of the BJP in the Gujarat elections indicates that even today PM Modi is very popular among the people. People consider him as their leader and not only the country, the people of Gujarat have faith in PM Modi's leadership and his party. This trust is not due to slogans or freebies, but it is born out of 27 years of struggle and the state's ever improving economy and development.
PM Modi's slogan is 'Sabka Saath-Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas-Sabka Prayas'. Keeping this slogan in mind, for the last 27 years, BJP has been working with the commitment of security and prosperity of the people of Gujarat and that is the reason why even today people have made BJP their first choice in Gujarat elections.
Growth Model vs Free Model
This time there was a battle of Vikas Model Vs Free Model in Gujarat elections, but out of these two models, the people gave their first priority to the model of development and due to this, BJP gave its best performance in Gujarat till date and made a clean sweep of all the parties. BJP has drawn a long line in the progress of the country by preparing new roadmaps for development. First of all, it took major steps to bring changes in the standard of living of the common citizens. In the Gujarat elections, BJP had made announcements keeping in mind every section, every region, in which the public expressed faith and considered BJP as the most suitable for the development of the state.
Farmers see hope
Big announcements were made in the direction of making agriculture more 'prosperous' and for the betterment of farmers. It will make the condition of the farmers in the state even better in terms of their income. The manifesto promised to invest Rs 25,000 crores to expand the irrigation network. Also investing Rs 10,000 crore under the Gujarat Agriculture Infrastructure Fund to develop a holistic system of Khedut mandis, modern APMCs, sorting and grading units, cold chains, warehouses, primary processing centers across Gujarat over the next 5 years. The manifesto promised to invest Rs 25,000 crore to expand the existing irrigation network through projects like Sujalam Suflam, Sauni, lift irrigation projects, micro-irrigation, drip irrigation and other systems. It was clear to the public from these announcements that if the government works on these aspects, then the winds of development will start blowing in their state.
Dream house
The promise of providing affordable housing to the weaker sections of the society and ensuring 100% implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, a pucca house for every citizen, was mentioned by the BJP government in its manifesto. Food-clothing-house is the first priority of the people. Gujarati society gives priority to work, it didn't want to weaken the infrastructure of its state by taking freebies, so it chose development for its vote bank.
Healthy body is healthy mind
In its manifesto, the BJP promised to double the annual cap under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (Ayushman Bharat) from Rs 5 lakh to Rs 10 lakh per family and ensure free medical treatment. To provide free diagnosis services for EWS families in all government health institutions and empaneled laboratories, it talked about starting the Chief Minister's Free Diagnosis Scheme with a fund of Rs 110 crore. Health is the biggest concern of any family. The government had given a clear message to the public by promising that by taking care of their health, they would further strengthen the health of the state.
Employment first priority
BJP gave prominence to issues related to the employment. BJP promised to give 20 lakh employment opportunities to the youth of Gujarat in the next 5 years. Will set up 4 Gujarat Institutes of Technology (GITs) on the lines of IITs as centers of excellence in the areas of green energy, semiconductors, fintech and aerospace. With its promise of employment, BJP said that just as the future of the youth is in the right hands today, similarly if they get elected, the future of the youth will also be in the right hands.
Zero tolerance on terror
In its manifesto, the BJP talked about creating an anti-radicalization cell to identify and eliminate security, potential threats and sleeper cells of terrorist organizations and anti-India forces. Through this, BJP told the people of the state that playing with the lives of the people of the state will not be tolerated at any cost. This message of BJP is already spread all over the country that it works with the spirit of zero tolerance on the issue of terror.
Public welfare
For the last 27 years, BJP in Gujarat has benefited every section of the society, every section of the society through decisions related to public welfare, economic decisions, minorities. BJP has taken many historic decisions in the direction of public welfare, which have paved the way for the upliftment of poor and needy Indians. This thinking of BJP sent a message to the public that it sees public welfare in its decisions, does not give importance to any particular caste or religion.
Focus on Mission
Whether through a family card scheme, ensuring full implementation of the recommendations of the Gujarat Uniform Civil Code Committee, strengthening gaushalas, converting government schools into excellence schools, creating world-class sports infrastructure or through various schemes for women To promote empowerment, the welfare of every section, every class has been ensured by BJP.
The BJP did not deviate even a bit from its development mission. It reiterated its commitment towards development in every program, public meeting and government programs. PM Modi said that his only aim is to bring change in the life of common man and to move the country on the path of progress.
Overall, the BJP had already given this message through its election manifesto that the only objective of its stay in power is public welfare, on the contrary, other parties failed to assure this.
