Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the Union Budget on Tuesday, setting a new record by delivering it for the seventh consecutive year.
The budget highlights nine core priorities of the government:
* Agriculture
* Employment
* Social Justice
* Manufacturing and Services
* Urban Development
* Energy Security
* Innovation
*Research and Development
* Next-Generation Reforms
A key feature of the budget is the Rs. 2 lakh crore package, designed for five major schemes focused on employment and skill development.
The Finance Minister emphasized the strength of the economy and underscored the government’s commitment to boosting job creation. The budget includes a dedicated allocation of Rs. 2 lakh crore for youth programs and an additional Rs. 1.48 lakh crore for enhancing education, employment, and skill development.
